CANCER

Many of us have faced a diagnosis of colorectal cancer, and/or have lost family members and friends to this disease. Despite significant research and treatment advances, more must be accomplished to eradicate this disease. Colon cancer remains the second leading cause of cancer death. Please encourage friends and colleagues to learn about their family medical histories and CRC’s potential warning signs, and to disclose symptoms and evaluate risk factors with their health providers. Emphasize the importance of follow through with recommended screenings; SCREENING is essential for prevention and early detection. Below is a sample of fund-raising and educational initiatives.
