OPEN DISCUSSION

Although our originally intended program for May required rescheduling, we are still observing Bladder Cancer Awareness Month, in part through information in the May newsletter. Our apologies for the unfortunate conflict with the AIDS NY and Bladder Awareness Walks. Given meeting schedule constraints, such conflicts are often unavoidable.

I look forward to a very lively May open discussion, and invite all to come and participate. In the course of addressing the concerns of attendees, we expect to generate many FAQ’s for OANY’s new website currently under construction. The input of “newbies” is especially welcome, as those of us living with ostomies a long time may overlook essential information that more recent ostomates are seeking. Please do not hesitate to voice you questions and concerns.
